Extensibility

By modifying the Application ID and utilising additional bits in the application reserved section of the coded beacon frame, SubPos can be used to implement additional features such as more accurate ranging, while still remaining completely dataless.

To implement an extensible option, firstly you can publicly register your unique application ID by sending a request through the contact page with a description of the application, its purpose and a link to the project (if any).

Generally it is up to the application developer to then implement this functionality as they see fit. However it is worthwhile to use follow the following structure as a guideline:
